A report on the scale and impact of fossil fuel consumption subsidies and electricity subsidies in the country, providing an overview of the Philippine energy market, energy pricing including taxes and subsidies, history and implications of fossil-fuel consumption subsidies and reforms, with a case study of subsidy reform. The lessons feed into a guide for energy subsidy reform in Southeast Asia.
